Microplastics are small plastic particles with a diameter of less than 5 mm.

International studies have already detected microplastics and other dirt particles in human faeces, stomach, blood, placenta and lungs. Whether this leads to damage or illness is currently is still completely unclear. Scientists do not yet have any answers. However, intensive research is being carried out.

Dirt particle residues in filtered drinking water

Do you know the condition of the water pipes in your home?

Dirt particles and deposits in the pipes are flushed out daily with the drinking water – e.g. into your glass, your bottle, your jug, your kettle, your drinking bottle for sports, your water container in the coffee machine, etc.
